The Maple Leaf Tray is a hand-cast gypsum catchall shaped after the wide, multi-lobed form of a maple leaf — with five broad rounded lobes, a prominent central vein, and radiating secondary veins pressed into a generous shallow basin. It is the largest of the Sunsum leaf trays, and the most expressive. A form that feels both ancient and immediate.

Use it as a statement piece on a console table, a coffee table centerpiece, or a dresser surface where its scale earns the space it takes up. Fill it with crystals, dried botanical stems, a collection of rings, or smooth river stones. Leave it empty and let the vein detail carry the room.

Each piece is hand-cast individually, which means no two are exactly alike. Slight variations in texture, tone, and surface character are inherent to the nature of gypsum casting — and part of what makes your piece distinctly yours.
